C1/C1 + E Training
Once you have your provisional licence and have passed your theory and hazard perception, we will arrange a 1 hour assessment lesson at your convenience.
One of our instructors will take you out on the highway in the class of vehicle you need for your C1 driver training and use this hour to assess your driving and discuss your training requirements, including offering an estimate of the number of days training you will require to reach C1 driving test standard.
We will also provide you with an estimate of costs for the course, as well as possible dates and times. You are then free to make the decision on the way forward that suits you (please see below for our hourly rate). You can book your lessons there and then or call us to arrange them over the phone.

C1 is the category you need to take if your looking at driving a van between 3,500 and 7,500kg MAM (with a trailer up to 750kg), training to be a paramedic, upgrading your horse box trailer to a larger horse box vehicle or getting that new motor home you have been dreaming about.
If you passed your driving test before 1st Jan 1997 you already have the entitlement, however if you passed anytime after this date you will need to take the same approach as applying for a HGV licence. This involves a new provisional licence, medical exam, theory and hazard perception and a practical exam. You will also need to have completed your initial CPC if you are driving for hire or reward.
